Antifouling paint

Vivid Free, the new antifouling paint by Pettit Marine Paint is now available at boatyards and retail stores. Available in 24 colors, Vivid Free grants protection against slime, algae, barnacles and other marine fouling, without the aid of copper or TBT, because the product uses a controlled erosion process, along with PTFE and biocide technology. The company says that Vivid Free is an environmentally friendly way to diminish coating build-up and keep underwater surfaces spotless. Vivid Free can be used on all aluminum, fiberglass, wood and steel hulls, outdrives and outboard motors in salt, fresh, and brackish water.
