Hydratrek amphibious vehicle
Hydratek, LLC unveils its industrial duty emergency response vehicle, the Hydratrek, which can trek up and down steep inclines and through mud, swamps, woodlands, floodwaters, and rivers. The amphibious vehicle has tri-mode propulsion including land-only wheel drive, a proprietary designed 11-inch bronze dual prop system for water drive, or a combination of prop and wheel drives. With no gears to shift, the Hydratrek can be operated from either the side or center of the vehicle with a single set of controls. The Hydratrek is made of aluminum and travels 4.5 knots in water and 14 mph on land. |
