Marina village in the works in South Carolina
Clarendon, County, S.C.—The Beach Company and Charleston-based landscape architectural firm DesignWorks, revealed the Master Plan for Cantey Bay Plantation, Lake Marion’s Premier Waterfront Community.

Cantey Bay Plantation is situated on about 4,000 acres of waterfront property on Lake Marion in Summerton, South Carolina. The community will include an assortment of housing types, sizes, and prices ranges constructed by local, regional, and national homebuilders.

On the waterfront Jack’s Creek Marina will be stationed. The marine will include a new boat landing and ramp, fuel pump, wet slip docks, waterside dining, rental cottages, tackle shop, general store, and a residents’ club and pool.

Cantey Bay Plantation will also offer scenic views, walking trails, boardwalks, picnic areas, dog parks, wildlife observations, and golf. The plantation will be connected by sidewalk and waterfront trails to Cantey Bay Village, which will offer casual dining, shopping, offices, and single-family homes and town homes. For those looking for more active recreation, there will be ballparks, playfields, and basketball and tennis courts.
