Registration Opens for Annual Boating Access Conference

Registration is open for the States Organization for Boating Access (SOBA) 2018 Annual Boating Access Conference to be held from September 24 to 27 in Duluth, Minnesota, at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.

Hosted by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the event will highlight challenges in developing and maintaining boating access, and showcase products, services and solutions designed to meet those challenges. This year’s event theme is, “Access is the Bridge to Superior Water Recreation Experiences.”

The conference will include presentations, networking and a tour of five boating access sites. Industry partners will present reports on their latest activities. There will be a day focused on federal grant programs and partnerships, as well as an awards ceremony for outstanding access projects, and numerous presentations covering topics related to the Clean Vessel Act, boating access maintenance, engineering, aquatic invasive species, and non-motorized boat access.
