Norwalk Boat Show Closes Another Successful Year
Published on October 1, 2018This year’s Progressive Insurance Norwalk Boat Show saw 14,384 attendees and featured 300 boats. While attendance was down 5 percent over 2017, exhibitors reported solid sales and leads. The show included hands-on seminars and learning experiences for boaters and anglers, as well as many family-friendly activities.
Some of the main attractions were an expanded Touch-a-Boat Tour for kids to interact with captains and visit more than 10 boats, a virtual reality boat race game called Oculus Rift, on-water boat training, an opening day ribbon cutting ceremony and a that engaged more than 30 kids with speakers from Brewer Yacht Yards & Marinas, Boston Whaler and Yamaha.
