Wisconsin Clean Marina Program Announces New Certifications

The Wisconsin Clean Marina Program has announced its list of marinas that were certified or re-certified as Clean Marinas in 2019, as well as those that have pledged to become certified.

Certified and re-certified were Harbor Centre Marina, Madeline Island Yacht Club, Reefpoint Marina, and South Shore Yacht Club. There are now 20
Clean Marinas in the state.

New pledges include: Anchor Point Marina, Anderson Marina, Ashland Marina, Bakers Island Marina, Firehouse Marina and Saxon Harbor Campground and Marina.

The Wisconsin Clean Marina Program is a voluntary certification program for marinas that adopt best management practices that reduce pollution and protect Wisconsin’s water resources. Owners and managers of these businesses recognize that a clean and safe marina is important to their boating clientele, their livelihood, and Wisconsin’s waterways.
