Hall of Fame Marina Announces National Marina Day Plans

The Hall of Fame Marina and Vet Info are partnering together to support veterans of the military community as part of the annual National Marina Days celebration.
On Saturday, June 11th, 2022, Hall of Fame Marina will host and celebrate National Marina Days. This year, to honor veterans and support Vet Info, Inc., all monies raised through sponsorship and donations will be presented to Vet Info, Inc, 501(c)(3).
The morning will begin with a breakfast reception at Bubba Gump’s restaurant. Guests will then board a Tropical Sailing catamaran cruise on Ft. Lauderdale’s intercoastal waterways and ocean with area veterans. A reception lunch, catered by Bubba Gump’s will follow at the Marriott Courtyard Ft. Lauderdale Beach. During the luncheon, guest speakers including representatives from the Ft. Lauderdale mayor’s office, military, and medical industry will address veterans, invited sponsors, and guests.
The fundraising goals for this event include:
- Funding for four kayaks and supplies for 24 excursions for veterans with PTSD
- Funding to provide training/scholarships to veterans and or their families
- Funding to support homeless veterans with hygiene supplies
