New Dock System for Florida Facility
Published on April 7, 2024Boaters who frequent Stuart, Florida, will now have access to transient and temporary mooring opportunities at Manatee Pocket. Martin County recently improved its dockage at the Manatee Pocket mooring field with a new system designed by Marina Technologies (MTI). Anchored with eight 12-inch diameter steel piles, the new 160-foot-long floating concrete dock system provides access to the mooring field in Port Salerno. The docks are fully equipped with pedestals, providing 30-amp power and water. Two aluminum gangways connect the new docks to fixed timber piers at the shore. Applied Technology & Management (ATM) acted as the marina consultant for Martin County, and Fort Pierce-based Underwater Engineering Services (UESI), installed the new dock system.
