Nashville Marina Rezoning Plans Approved

Nashville, Tennessee’s Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) has approved Dallas-based Prescott Group’s redevelopment plan for Rock Harbor Marina. In early August, the MPC unanimously approved the rezoning of the site on the Cumberland River. This will allow Prescott Group to move forward with the design of housing and commercial structures as well as improved amenities and docking infrastructure.

Rock Harbor Marina opened on the Cumberland River, just outside of Nashville in 1964. The Prescott Group purchased the facility in 2021 and plans to expand the existing 150-slip, full-service marina by creating a community space with resident and commercial development.
