SVN Marinas Oversees Sale of Sea Love Marina

David Kendall, managing director and national marina specialist with SVN | Nautilus, in collaboration with Carl Lentz, managing director of SVN | Alliance in Ormond Beach, announced the successful $21,960,000 sale of Down the Hatch Seafood Restaurant and Sea Love Marina. The buyer, Cay Marine, a boutique family-owned business, also operates Cay Marine in Sebastian, Florida.

The 15.87-acre waterfront property in Ponce Inlet, Florida, features a restaurant, a full-service marina and a marine service center. Cay Marine is dedicated to maintaining the property’s history while actively supporting the local community, ensuring its legacy remains a cornerstone of Ponce Inlet’s waterfront culture.

This expansive riverfront property includes 1,300 linear feet of prime waterfront along the Halifax River, anchored by the iconic Down the Hatch Restaurant. A popular waterfront dining destination since 1975, the restaurant features 8,532 square feet of indoor dining space and a 4,000-square-foot open-air patio.

The property also features Sea Love Boat Works and Marina, a full-service marine center offering 1,380 feet of deepwater dockage, located just inside the Ponce Inlet. The facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art 75-ton marine travelift with a 23-foot beam capacity and provides on-site fuel sales. With the largest lift capacity in Volusia County, Sea Love Boat Works is fully equipped to handle a comprehensive range of marine services.
