Patent Issued for New Coastline Safeguard Technologies

Coastal Technologies Corporation (Coastal), a global leader in innovative environmental protection solutions, announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has awarded the company a comprehensive utility patent. This milestone positions Coastal at the forefront of developing technologies designed to safeguard and restore coastlines, ecosystems and vulnerable infrastructure facing an array of environmental threats, including erosion, landslides, rising sea levels, storms and marine pollution.

The newly issued patent (US12146284B2) covers a broad spectrum of cutting-edge technologies, including cliff stabilizersmarsh guards and oyster and mussel reef restoration stacks. These solutions represent fundamental advancements in protecting vulnerable coastal areas while supporting ecological balance and restoration, and Coastal is now receiving orders for deployment in public and private resilience projects.

This wide-ranging patent, encompassing 78 pages of detailed documentation with 13 distinct claims and 58 drawing sheets, is the first in an expanding family of intellectual property filings, including a Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) submission securing international protection.
