MTA/NJ Offers Education Scholarships

The Marine Trades Association of New Jersey (MTA/NJ) is offering two Education Scholarships for the 2025 – 2026 school year. The MTA/NJ is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing, promoting and protecting the recreational marine industry and the waterways in the state of New Jersey. These scholarships are open to any student interested in pursuing a career in the recreational boating industry and who meets the criteria outlined.

• Boating Industry Scholarship: One $1,500 scholarship awarded to a graduating student who has a strong desire to succeed in a recreational boating industry vocational, technical or college program.

• Automotive Training Center: This is a half scholarship ($12,600) for the Marine Service Technology Program at Automotive Training Center in Pennsylvania.
