NMRA Saw Record Growth in 2017

The National Marine Representatives Association (NMRA) had record growth in 2017 with the addition of 30 new members. The organization believes recovery in the marine industry, combined with a building awareness by manufacturers of the value of using independent sales representatives both contributed to the growth.

Serving independent marine sales representatives as their voice, and providing networking opportunity and important industry information, NMRA builds strong connections between its members OEM’s, distributors, retail outlets, boatyards and marinas. Independent reps work on commission for all size companies, frequently building contacts and eventual contracts through NMRA’s networks.

NMRA was established in 1960. It is not only active in the established marine industry, but also awards scholarships to students looking to build careers in the maritime trades.
