Suntex Teams with RCI Group at Miami Beach Marina

Suntex Marina Investors, LLC has acquired an equity interest from RCI Group’s Miami Beach Marina. The move helps ensure both groups’ goal of keeping South Florida the premier yachting destination in the country.

The facility, located just minutes from South Beach, has 400 boat slips and can accommodate vessels up to 250 feet in length. The marina provides both storage and service, as well as on-site restaurants, fishing charters, water taxis and a dive center. The site is also a host site for the Miami Boat Show and the South Beach Food and Wine Festival.

Suntex plans to incorporate at least two of its philanthropic initiatives at Miami Beach, the Responsible Boating Initiative and Folds of Honor. The Responsible Boating Initiative brings marinas and boaters together to work on ways to protect marine life and ocean ecosystems through responsible boating, fishing and diving practices. Suntex also supports Folds of Honor Foundation, a group that provides scholarships to families of fallen and wounded soldiers, through fundraising initiatives.

Suntex now has a portfolio of 46 marinas throughout the U.S.
