National Marine Representatives Association Offers Scholarship

The National Marine Representatives Association (NMRA) is offering a $2,500 scholarship to a high school senior, college or vocational school student pursuing education for a career in the marine trades. The scholarship has been offered yearly since 2008, with past recipients now holding jobs in boat building, logistics, naval design and the merchant marines.

The 2018 scholarship is funded by an anonymous donor and the following companies and organizations: Midwest Outdoor Marketing, GSW & Associate, Advanced Pedestals, Ltd., ComMar Sales, dynaMACS, Gulf Atlantic Marketing, Haimes Coleman Group, Kelcom, Inc., WE Stewart Sales, West Coast Sales and William F. Miller & Associates.

Since 1960, NMRA has served the marine industry independent sales representatives and the manufacturers who sell through them, providing information, networking opportunities and a voice for the industry. The organization has more than 100 members.
