Published on March 19, 2018The Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF) and the Marine Industry Cares Foundation, organized the 41st Annual Broward County Waterway Cleanup on March 3. The group of more than 1,250 volunteers on land and on the water, collected 32 tons of trash from 31 sites around the county, including typical items like tires, shopping carts and lawn furniture, as well as oddities, such as an air hockey table, a commode, and a sonar sounder.
