BoatUS Seeking Life Jacket Loaner Locations

The BoatUS Foundation is looking for locations willing to become Life Jacket Loaner sites. Marinas, boat and fishing clubs, waterfront businesses, organizations or other groups that serve boaters are eligible. Approved locations will receive a kit containing 12 life jackets, sized from infant to youth, signage and a local publicity kit. There is no cost to set up a loaner site and the only obligation is for sites to track life jacket usage with a clipboard sign out system, and ensure the life jackets remain in good condition. The program is funded by donations from BoatUS members. There are more than 550 life jacket loaner sites across the United States that loan out children’s life jackets more than 140,000 times each year. For more information click here .
