ABYC Awards Outstanding Technicians

As part of the International Marine Service Technician Week, April 24 to 29, the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) announced the five recipients of the 2023 Outstanding Technician Awards, sponsored by Yamaha. From over 90 nominations the winners include Austin Voigt from AMC Marine Sales & Services, Ryan Emelander from Action Water Sports, Scott Fowler from 3A Marine Service, Kim Anderson from Safe Harbor Great Island, and Aaron Steel from Safe Harbor Pilots Point.  

This is the second annual International Marine Service Technician Week and the Outstanding Technician Awards are dedicated to highlighting marine service professionals who excel in customer service, technical training, and industry involvement.  

The winners receive a $100 VISA gift card, free ABYC online learning courses, and a technician prize pack with various giveaways from both Yamaha and ABYC.
