ACE Floats Receive Certification

Ace foam-filled float drums by Den Hartog Industries have been tested and certified by IMANNA Laboratory Inc. to ensure the floats meet marine industry standards. The foam-filled float drums are covered by a plastic one-piece exterior shell made from polyethylene with ultra violet inhibitors and with a .150-inch thickness. The interior of the float drum is filled with expanded polystyrene foam. The floats were tested and certified for ASTM D19998-06 Falling Dart Impact, 7-day Hunt Water Absorption, Encasement Wall Thickness and Calibrated Tank Buoyancy.

IMANNA is a privately owned, independent testing facility approved for testing industry standards published by the American Boat & Yacht Council and is recognized as a standards compliance specialist by the National Marine Manufacturers Association.
