AMI Kicks Off Virtual Training Course

The Association of Marina Industries Training Institute’s has kicked off its first-ever virtual training course with 25 in attendance.

The course will run twice a week through December 10 and those in attendance will have made their first step toward earning the Certified Marina Manager (CMM) or Operator (CMO) designation. AMI’s CMM/CMO designation is the industry standard for marina management excellence.

“This is a big step for AMI toward providing many of our courses in an online format,” said Merritt Alves, AMI Training Coordinator. “As many others are doing in response to the current pandemic, we’re pivoting to online, so that we can broaden access to our training and reach as many marina managers as possible.”

AMI will hold future training opportunities in both face-to-face and virtual formats.
