Bristol Marine Acquires Boothbay Harbor Shipyard
Published on January 15, 2018Bristol Marine of Rhode Island has acquired its third boatyard in New England, Boothbay Harbor Shipyard of Maine. The company’s other acquisitions are in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Boothbay Harbor Shipyard repairs and services all types of vessels, including the current restoration of the official vessel of
Massachusetts, the Ernestina Morrisey and the National Park Service’s tall ship Friendship of Salem. The vessels are 156-feet and 171-feet respectively. The yard has both a 700-ton and 150-ton marine railway.

Eric Graves will continue to lead the shipyard operations at Boothbay.
