BWI Seeks Entries for Its 25th Annual Writing Contest

Boating Writers International is accepting entries for its 25th annual writing contest. The contest includes 17 categories and $17,000 in prizes, and recognizes the best marine writing in the world.

The categories of Boating Videos, Boating Photography, Environmental Awareness and Education, and Gear, Electronics and Product Tests, are new or have been updated for this year. All category winners will have cash prizes for first, second and third place, and certificates of merit will be presented to each entry that scores within 95 percent of the third-place winners. Awards will be given at BWI’s annual meeting at the Miami International Boat Show in February.
