Discover Boating Highlights Marine Businesses Giving Back

With so many boat companies and marine manufacturers  supporting those on the frontlines of the COVID-19 outbreak, Discover Boating has launched a new Boating Gives Back page, to spread awareness about the industry’s efforts to the millions of boaters across the country. From converting manufacturing to producing personal protective equipment (PPE), and donating supplies and gear, collectively, the boating industry has provided nearly 500,000 units of PPE and other essential materials.

The new Discover Boating Boating Gives Back page not only showcases the boating industry working together during a crisis, but also the industry’s ability to innovate, improve manufacturing efficiencies, and create solutions to keep businesses running, such as using 3D printers to convert scuba masks into respirators, and creating face shield halos under quick time constraints.

The Boating Gives Back page can be shared on social media or other communication channels.
