Elkhart Plastics Expands YAKport Kayak Launch Accessory Options

Elkhart Plastics LLC, a Myers Industries, Inc. company, extends the YAKport Kayak Launch accessory options to better serve customers.

YAKport is a personal paddle sport launch system that works for not only kayaks but also canoes and paddleboards with a width of 34 inches. The YAKport attaches to the company’s Connect-A-Dock floating dock series, including the low profile 1000 Series Dock and high profile 2000 Series Dock. It also connects to other floating models and fixed docks.

As an accessory to the YAKport Kayak Launch, Elkhart Plastics offers updated, short rotomolded grab bars constructed of durable, UV-protected polyethylene sold in pairs. Available in tan, light grey, dark grey, blue, and black, the grab bars match the existing YAKport color scheme for a sleek look. In addition, Elkhart Plastics’ new innovative design incorporates the overhead assist bar with the short grab bars for easier entry into a watersport’s apparatus.
