Fast Completion of Courtesy Dock at Butler Marine

Butler Marine Dry Stack and Sales is located on Battery Creek in Port Royal, South Carolina. Last July, a tornado associated with Tropical Storm Elsa destroyed 75% of the courtesy dock it uses to serve its dry stack storage customers.

Meeco Sullivan was able to quickly provide a new floating timber dock that can accommodate watercraft from 18 feet to 50 feet in length. “These were invaluable to our client as these floats served as a dry stack facility right at the end of the summer,” said Duncan O’Quinn, president of O’Quinn Marine Construction, which handled the facility repairs. “We were able to get the drawings done from our requirement and have the dock installed in a time that our client was happy with.”
