Floating Waste Collectors

Poralu Marine has partnered with The Seabin Project to market Seabins-floating plastic waste collectors. Seabins are receptacles fixed on pontoons, submerged and connected to an electric pump that creates a continuous current to attract floating waste. Once full, the bag receptacle is thrown away and a new bag is attached. Poralu Marine is producing the Seabins in its factory in France and also conducting research and development for more product features, such as a version that can affix to a dock. The Seabins are fully recyclable and plans are to have the plastic waste that is captured in the bins, recycled to makes more Seabins. For more information visit www.seabinproject.com.
