Freedom Boat Club Signs Agreement To Expand To Europe

Freedom Boat Club (FBC) has signed an alliance agreement with Jeanneau to begin bringing the boat club franchises to Europe. The franchises will be offered to some of the 350 dealers, in close to 70 countries that currently offer Jeanneau boats. FBC President and CEO John Giglio expects multiple franchise operations to be open in France this spring with further expansion throughout Europe to follow. FBC members can access boats at any franchise within the United States, and with this expansion to Europe they can now access boats abroad.

“The boat clubs are a real trend that our dealers are keen to develop,” Jean-Paul Chapeleau, Jeanneau CEO, said. “For Jeanneau dealers, it’s a unique opportunity to benefit from an experienced partner while launching this new service to our customers.”

FBC executives will be meeting with Jeanneau dealers at the Miami Boat Show to tour a Florida-based franchise.
