Grand Isle Marina Named ValvTect “Marina of the Year”

Grand Isle Marina in Grand Haven, Michigan, received this year’s ValvTect Petroleum Products’ “Marina of the Year Award.” Presented at the International Marina & Boatyard Conference, the award recognizes a marina’s commitment to business and the community, as well as the exceptional qualities that set it apart among boaters and other marina operators.

Grand Isle is a full-service marina offering wet slips and dry rack storage, engine service, a canvas & carpentry shop, electronic installations, haul-outs, and bottom painting. The facility became a Safe Harbor location in 2016 and since then has undergone improvements that include personal parking spaces for wet slip holders and a new indoor pool and spa. The ship’s store and fuel dock are under construction with expected completion this spring, and Grand Isle has applied for its Clean Marina certification.

To better recognize and appreciate the hard work and effort of all the Grand Isle marina staff, ValvTect will combine this year’s Marina of the Year Award celebration with the May 2018 Grand Opening of Grand Isle Marina’s new Ship’s Store and Fuel Dock.
