Hall of Fame Supports Health Care Workers

Although, Hall of Fame Marina in Florida postponed its annual July Marina Day event until 2021, manager Scott Salomon still wanted to reach out to the community, especially during the pandemic.

Hall of Fame Marina gave back to the community by thanking the health professionals from Holy Cross Hospital that are saving lives.  The marina offered hard working health care professionals a fun, relaxing experience on a Tropical Sailing sunset cruise.  With help from area businesses, cruise certificates were included in a special gift basket including personal notes of gratitude with champagne and chocolates.  Twenty-five cruise certificates and gift baskets were presented and distributed.

“This was a great way of rewarding these health care workers on the front line from Hall of Fame Marina and our local business partners,” Salomon said.

Tentative plans are being put in place to hold last year’s planned event “Fishing with Americas Finest,” a benefitting for veterans, sometime next summer.
