ICOMIA and RAI Renew “Cooperation Contract”

The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) and METSTRADE creator RAI Amsterdam, have renewed their ‘cooperation contract’– an agreement that was first signed in 1991.

The contract kicked off the vision for METSTRADE to be the most influential Business-to-Business trade show for the marine industry. Under the agreement, ICOMIA moderates the partnership between its global marine industry association members and RAI and sponsors the Breakfast Briefing at METSTRADE. In return, RAI supports ICOMIA and provides space for the organization to hold events at METSTRADE. ICOMIA also has representation on the “Exhibition Committee” for the annual event.

Started in 1966, ICOMIA is recognized as the voice for the recreational marine industry, representing 35 marine industry associations worldwide. METSTRADE is the world’s largest trade show for the marine equipment sector.
