ICOMIA Releases Grow Boating Guide

The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) has released the Grow Boating Guide—a new publication providing strategies and methods for increasing participation in recreational boating.

The guide is targeted toward trade associations or other interest groups that want to develop a unified campaign or start a national trade association to attract new boaters, and to marine business owners who are looking for tips on how to increase their customer base.

Topics in the guide include forming alliances; consumer campaigns; boat shows and events; reading marketing campaign results; researching boating barriers; and how to communicate with industry and consumers. In addition, there is a listing of ICOMIA member Grow Boating campaigns.
