Kemah Boardwalk Marina Hosts Charity Fishing Tournament
Published on March 11, 2019The Kemah Boardwalk Marina, in Kemah, Texas, is holding the 2019 Fishermen Helping Fishermen Tournament to benefit the Kemah Peace Officers Association. The event on April 13 is a one-day fishing tournament on Galveston Bay that is expected draw 50 to 60 participating boats, more than 200 anglers, and hundreds of spectators to the weigh-in to view the redfish and trout.
The unique format of this team tournament permits fishing guides and kayak teams. Dockside activities will feature a crawfish boil, captains meeting barbeque, a charity auction, vendors and live entertainment throughout the day.

Kemah Boardwalk Marina will also be hosting the 2019 Salute the Heroes Fishing Tournament on May 18 to benefit The Wounded Warrior Project, local veterans’ programs and first responders.
