Dockhound is a software tool that helps dry storage marinas track operations like launch requests, boat movements and customer communication. Customers send launch requests via text message and drivers receive the request three hours in advance of launch time. Dockhound compiles information, such as the number of boats launched or to be launched and how long boats have been out. It also records customers’ contact and slip information. The app tracks boats on-site as they move from water to work rack or to drystack. No downloads are required and Dockhound is free for the first month.
