Marinalife Announces Marina Contest Winners

The winners of Marinalife’s 8th Annual Best Marina Contest have been announced. The 2017 Best Large Marina is Orange Beach Marina in Orange Beach, Alabama, and the 2017 Best Small Marina was awarded to Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina in Fort Myers, Florida.

Orange Beach Marina is located on a protected harbor in the Gulf Coast and offers 161 slips, shower and laundry facilities and two on-site restaurants. Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina is located six miles from the Gulf of Mexico and has 41 slips for boats up to 100 feet. The resort also has pools, restaurants and a spa.

Second and third place winners were also announced. Kingman Yacht Center in Cataumet, Massachusetts, and River Dunes Marina in Oriental, North Carolina, came in second and third for Best Large Marina. Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina in Islamorada, Florida, and Homeport Marina in Gulf Shores, Alabama, were voted second and third in the Best Small Marina category.

Thousands of boaters across the United States vote each year for the winners of the Marinalife Best Marina contest.
