Marinas.com Announces Boaters’ Choice Winners

Marinas.com announced the winners of its 2018 Boaters’ Choice Awards last week. The awards honor the marinas that were most praised by boaters throughout the year. Thousands of user reviews are used to determine the winners giving all boaters an equal voice and all marinas an unbiased assessment of their standing in the boating community. Any marina with at least three reviews in 2018 and an average rating of at least four stars receives the accolade of being a 2018 Boaters’ Choice Marina.

This year, 217 businesses comprise the recipient group. Marinas.com includes profiles for more than 8,500 marinas, which places the 2018 Boaters’ Choice winners in the top 3 percent highest-rated marinas.

This year, Marinas.com added the Elite Fleet tier of the Boaters’ Choice Awards representing the top 0.2 percent highest-rated marinas and those receiving at least ten boater reviews in 2018 with an average rating of at least 4.8 stars.

Winners are given a badge to place on their website, a certificate and templates for social media posts and emails announcing their award. The marinas are also featured on the Marinas.com Boaters’ Choice page and are promoted through the company’s social media channels.
