Marine Industry to Host “State of the Industry” Briefings

Members of the marine industry and Congressional Boating Caucus will host “State of the Industry” briefings on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, January 31.

The Marine Retailers Association of America (MRAA), National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and BoatUS, will present trends and concerns of the recreational boating industry to members of the House and Senate and their staffs.

The group will give presentations on the economic growth and impact of recreational boating, legislative issues affecting the industry and workforce needs. Specifically, MRAA President Matt Gruhn will ask Congressional leaders to assist in the development of programs to bring more skilled workers to the marine industry.
