MMTA Relaunches “Stay Local Boat MA” Campaign

Now in its 10th year, the Massachusetts Marine Trades Association (MMTA) has relaunched its STAY LOCAL BOAT MA Transient Boater Referral Program with 18 marinas participating this year. The reciprocal program encourages seasonal boaters to visit participating destination marinas in exchange for reduced transient dockage rates.  Participating marinas are given a discount card to hand out to their seasonal boaters as well as logo placement on the website www.staylocalboatma.com.

Designed to promote “vacationing at home,” the Stay Local program keeps boating-related tax dollars local, while rewarding customer loyalty and promoting each participating facility. The program encourages group travel with increased dockage discounts between 10 and 20 percent based on the total number of boats traveling together. Participating marinas this year include: Brewer Green Harbor Marina; Brewer Plymouth Marine; Constitution Marina; Marina Bay Boston; Newburyport Marinas; Hingham Shipyard Marinas; Brewer Fiddler Cove Marina; Brewer Onset Bay Marine; Burr Brothers Boats; Cape Ann’s Marina and Resort; Charlestown Marina; Crocker’s Boat Yard; Glover Wharf Municipal Marina; Kingman Yacht Center; Manchester Marine; Parker’s Boatyard; Provincetown Marina and Steamboat Wharf Marina.
