National Marine Trades Council to Celebrate 50 Years

The National Marine Trades Council (NMTC) has announced the dates and location for its 50th-anniversary conference. After a four-year hiatus, NMTC will return July 10 to 13 on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with the host hotel being the Lighthouse Inn, in West Dennis. The NMTC conference is open to all leaders from local, state, and national marine trades associations.

Kitty McGowan, president of U.S. Superyacht Association, and Lori Wheeler vice president of the Marine Industries Association of South Florida serve as the NMTC co-chairs and noted this year’s conference will be hosted by the Massachusetts Marine Trades Association. The conference agenda will include association management, workforce development, boat show marketing and planning, the future of the recreational boating industry, advocacy initiatives, association profit center ideas, and more.

NMTC is considered a premier educational and networking event for association leaders.  The conference offers a unique opportunity to share information and ideas with your colleagues from around the country.
