NMLA Releases Annual Report on Marine Financing

The National Marine Lenders Association (NMLA) has released its 2018 NMLA annual report of the marine finance market. Information for the report comes from NMLA members and recreational marine lenders, both those businesses that originate, hold and service loans, and those that originate but then sell their loans to banking services.

The report includes data on average loan size and terms; borrower demographics, operational practices; down payment and lien perfection requirements; collateral value determination; loan portfolio performance; and inventory financing practices.
