NMMA Releases Total Boat Registration

The Total Boat Registration section of the NMMA’s 2016 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract, is now available.

Access to the digital versions are complimentary for NMMA members and available to purchase for non-members at www.nmma.org/statistics. The entire digital edition of the Abstract is available for non-members at a cost of $3,999.

Highlights from this year’s report show 11.9 million registered boats in the United States with the Great Lakes region housing the most boats per capita at one registered boat for every 6.4 households. Outboard boats comprise 75.3 percent of total traditional powerboats registered in 2016.
