Ohio Marina Conference To Be Held February 27

The Ohio Marina Conference will be held on February 27 at 9:00 a.m. at the Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton, Ohio. The event, sponsored by Ohio Sea Grant, Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Lake Erie Marine Trades Association and the Catawba Island Club, will provide marina owners and operators with updates on environmental regulations and best practices, as well as training for professional development.

The conference will feature presentations on stormwater best practices, current state legislative activity, and the relationship between clean water and successful business. Breakout sessions will be held on compliance assistance, marine debris and recreational tourism and marketing.

Updates will be given on the Ohio Clean Marinas program and recreational boating and fishing.

The event is open to all Ohio marina owners/operators, staff, and Ohio Clean Marinas Program partners.
