Pacific Coast Port Organizations Sign Reciprocal Membership Agreement

The Pacific Coast Congress of Harbormasters and Port Managers (PCC) and the Association of Pacific Ports (APP) signed a reciprocal membership agreement on October 29 during PCC’s fall conference in Victoria, British Columbia.

The two organizations share common regional coverage and overlap of member ports and marinas, and recognized both would benefit from greater communication and collaboration. PCC and APP promote education, training and professionalism among marina and port personnel along the West Coast.

The new agreement specifies that members of both organizations will receive member pricing for conferences, as well as communications from each. The groups will cross-promote their associations on their websites and through media.

The agreement was signed by Scott Grindy, PCC president, and Ian Marr, chairman of APP.
