Pumpout Nav App Expands to Lake Champlain

Lake Champlain is the newest water body to be included in the Pumpout Nav app designed to help boaters locate nearby pumpout stations.

The availability is made possible through a partnership of the University of Vermont Extension, the Lake Champlain Sea Grant Program, the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Division and the San Francisco Estuary Partnership. The Estuary Partnership developed the app as part of a Clean Vessel Act grant provided by the California State Parks Division of Boating and Waterways and the federal Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund.

The Pumpout Nav app displays the location of the pumpout as well as the operational status, cost, hours and specific location within the marina. It is available for download from Adroid Play and iOS Apple stores.
