Refit Show Has Record Attendance

Attendance at this year’s Refit International Exhibition & Conference was up 28 percent over last year which organizers credit to an expanded exhibit hall and conference program.
The show at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, attracted an audience of boat repairers and builders (21 percent), captains and crew (19 percent), and refit service providers (15 percent). The attendance at seminars tripled with attendees able to earn professional certifications from American Boat Builders & Repairers Association (ABBRA) or Bluewater Crew Training.
The Triton hosted a Yacht Owners Panel and Captains’ Roundtable, and the Marine Industries Association of South Florida held a workforce development event and workshop regarding Fort Lauderdale’s new Foreign Trade Zones.
Next year’s show will again be at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, from April 10 to 11.
