Register for MMTA’s Business of Boating Conference

The Massachusetts Marine Trades Association (MMTA) will host the annual Business of Boating (BOB) conference on January 17, 2019, at Showcase Live – Patriot Place, Foxboro, Massachusetts. BOB will feature educational sessions that include the following topics and more:

• Massachusetts employment law update
• Team building ideas for creating a cohesive team
• Effective job descriptions to set expectations
• Recruiting vs. hiring
• Massachusetts workforce training grants and career centers overview

• Service workforce roundtable discussion and industry updates

 MMTA will also host two networking events on Wednesday, January 16 —the night before the conference. These events include a welcome reception at MMTA member location Bass Pro Shops and a social event at Splitsville luxury lanes. There are also two hotel options and a block of rooms reserved for conference attendees.
