Suntex Acquires Tennessee Marina

Suntex Marina Investors, LLC has acquired Hurricane Marina, located on Center Hill Lake in Silver Point, Tennessee. The acquisition came with a new 25-year lease with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and extended the lease for the existing restaurant tenant, Blue Water Grille. Hurricane Marina has 600 wet slips, 40 personal watercraft slips and 25 enclosed boathouse slips. The facility can accommodate boats and houseboats from 20 to more than 100 feet. The slips are located in a natural, protected harbor with deep water, making it popular for houseboats.

Amenities on-site include a boat rental fleet, security services, bathrooms, shower and laundry facilities, three fuel pumps and a pumpout station. There is also a ship store and common area, as well as a courtesy golf cart shuttle between the docks and parking lot. Center Hill Lake encompasses 19,000 surface aces of water and 415 miles of forested shoreline.
