Total Industry Sales from 2017 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract Now Available

The Total Industry Sales by Category and State report from the 2017 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract is now available at the website for the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) at NMMA.org. Data insights include:

• Total retail expenditures for recreational marine products and services reached $39 billion in 2017, up 6.5 percent from 2016.
• In 2017, Florida was the top state in retail sales for: powerboats, engines, trailers and accessories. Texas, Michigan, North Carolina and Minnesota (in that order) made up the rest of the top 5 states.
