Upgrades at Florida Boat Storage Facility

Charlotte Harbor Boat Storage in Port Charlotte, Florida, has installed a new Marine Travelift boat hoist. The new Marine Travelift 35 BFMII (77,000 pounds capacity) boat hoist replaced a similar model that served the family-run facility since 2002. “We thought it made sense to take advantage of the thriving resale market and swap out our legacy hoist while it was still in good working order,” said Brady Pocklington, partner owner at Charlotte Harbor Boat Storage. “We felt it was beneficial to secure the next 22 plus years for our business.”

The new hoist has a Cummins engine, two speeds and wireless remote control. WE Johnson Equipment Company sold, delivered and installed the new lift and sold the legacy lift.

Charlotte Harbor Boat Storage offers dry storage for sail and power boats ranging in size from 30 to 60 feet. The facility includes more than six acres of fenced, graveled yard with access to power and fresh, potable water.
