War Horse Cities Acquires Baltimore Marinas
Published on December 1, 2017War Horse Cities, owned by Scott Plank, a former Under Armour executive and brother of founder and CEO Kevin Plank, has acquired 15 properties of the Baltimore Marine Centers in Baltimore, Maryland.
The acquisition includes Inner Harbor, Harbor West and Lighthouse Point marinas, a boatyard, a dry storage unit, as well as several other waterfront businesses and a helipad. The marinas house 800 slips serving boats from large yachts to small fishing vessels.
Terms were not disclosed, but Plank said he would work with current business owners to develop a long-term improvement and collaboration plan to have the area serve as a gateway to the rest of the city.
War Horse Cities has also been buying properties near Hollins Market in West Baltimore, owns Belvedere Square in North Baltimore and is a partner in townhouse development Anthem House and Alta 47.
